Konniesha Moulton is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, coach, educator and trainer. She believes that every individual has the capacity and right to the life they desire and is committed to creating opportunities for all individuals to reach that potential.
Ms. Moulton has 20 years of experience working with individuals throughout their life cycle. Her career to date has been focused on working within non-profit organizations involved in the child welfare system including, in-home therapeutic treatment, residential treatment facilities, juvenile justice and community resource agencies. Not only has she worked in these capacities, but she has also created new program initiatives to enhance ongoing support for families and children within local communities.
Ms. Moulton is trained in several evidence informed practices such as Attachment, Self-Regulation and Competence (ARC), ARC Grow, Motivational Interviewing, and Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT). Her passion for trauma informed care extends to more than being a trained clinician. As a certified trainer in Parent/Child Interaction Therapy, she utilizes her experience and perspective to develop other mental health professionals, as she believes that viewing the world through a trauma informed lens creates a community of empathetic and authentic providers. Ms. Moulton has a passionate belief that the work of building healthy communities does not stop with trauma informed care but should be more of an integrative approach that includes culturally inclusive policies and practices. Ms. Moulton educates and trains individuals and organizations to ensure they view themselves, their employees, and consumers with cultural humility, as that is how many create meaning in their lives.
